Do I need an account?

No. Everything works without signing up.

Where is my progress saved?

In your browser's local storage on this device. It won't appear on another device or browser, and clearing site data or using private browsing removes it. There is no cloud backup.

How do I reset my progress?

Go to My Progress and choose "Reset my progress".

How are WPM and accuracy calculated?

WPM is correct characters ÷ 5 ÷ minutes. Accuracy is correct keystrokes ÷ all keystrokes, and corrected mistakes still count. Full details are in the typing guide.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Pages adapt to small screens, but Keybound is designed for a physical keyboard. On a touch-only device the typing test and games are much harder to use; connecting a keyboard works best.

Which keyboard layouts are supported?

The text uses standard English letters and punctuation. Other layouts work as long as you can type those characters; lessons describe the QWERTY home row.

How do I turn on sound, reduce motion or enlarge text?

Use the three buttons at the top of every page. Sound starts off. Reduced motion is also switched on automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.

Can I pause a game?

Yes — press Escape or the pause button. Games also pause automatically when you switch tabs.

How many games are there?

9: Orbit Defender, Prism Pop, Fleet Command, Critter Clash, Chomp City, Orchard Edge, Keyline Rally, Spook Patrol, Bloomkeeper. Rules and controls for each are on the How to play page.

Are scores compared with other players?

No. There are no online leaderboards; bests are personal and stored only on your device. Scores are never ranked across different games.

Is Keybound free?

Yes. There are no purchases. In-game credits and unlocks are earned by playing and have no real-world value.
